BLMK "PHB/CCC/CHC/s117 Digital Replacement System"

This is a Contract Award Notice to communicate a 'contract award' to Care Banking made compliantly under the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) G-Cloud 12 Framework Agreement (RM1557.12).

The CHC assessment process is often manually intensive. The process requires activities to be co-ordinated across multiple organisations which can lead to delays in decision-making, causing considerable distress to patients and families. CHC case numbers continue to rise and the service within Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes (BLMK) needed digital transformation to cope. NHS England also created a strategic improvement programme for CHC which is underpinned by digitisation.

Therefore, NHS BLMK Clinical Commissioning Group, following a compliant procurement process have awarded Care Banking a contract for the supply of 'BLMKs new Pioneer PHB/CCC/CHC/s117 Digital Service'. The digital solution will increase data transparency and speed up decisions about eligibility whilst reducing administration effort and time wasted on non-value adding activity.

NHS BLMK Clinical Commissioning Group are publishing this Contract Award Notice on behalf of BLMK Integrated Care System in the Contracts Finder in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as amended by The Public Procurement (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020) for spend above £25,000.

Additional information: The contract duration is for a 24 month period with an option to extend twice for 12 months (Maximum 48 month contract). Service commencement from 01st April 2022.
