Provision of Placement Management Service

Description

The University is procuring a Placement Management System Off-campus activity is an important and exciting aspect of many students' development at UCLan. It is also one of the core offerings that make UCLan stand out as a University of choice for many applicants. However, at present there is no centrally coordinated or consistent approach to the process of managing and monitoring students' off-campus activity across the University. There is currently no consistent approach to managing student placements or other off campus activity in real time in UCLan. Most Schools rely on spreadsheets, Teams channels or paper records. In addition to inherent inefficiencies, in the event of an emergency it may not be possible to generate a report to contact or locate all students who are off campus. The University is required to accurately report on placement and off campus activity to agencies such as OfS, HESA and UKVI. More information can be found on the specification document.
