For Transparency Purposes - HAMMERHEAD Life Extension (HHLE)

Description

HAMMERHEAD is a system is used on the T23 Frigates that is comprised of infrastructure, hardware and software. The contract for HAMMERHEAD expired on 31 March 2021 (original system out of service date) and there were no options in the contract to extend. However, there was a requirement to sustain and support the equipment until 31/03/25 (revised out of service date). The aim of this, HAMMERHEAD Life Extension (HHLE), procurement is to deliver continued in-service support for the HAMMERHEAD systems through to March 2025 and awarded as a single source contract to the current incumbent.
