Work description
This opportunity is for the Redevelopment of the Wholesale Market in Wolverhampton. In which the Wolverhampton City Council is proposing to undertake the conversion of the existing market to a mixed used site to accommodate the following facilities
New wholesale market building Fleet services electric vehicle workshop and associated vehicle parking provision Passenger transport parking and storage Shared office and welfare facilities for fleet services and passenger transport staff
The procurement route is via Competitive Procedure with Negotiation The tender will be conducted in 2 stages in which
Stage 1 the PAS91 SSQ documentation is issued in conjunction with the specification documents will include Detailed Design Information RIBA Stage 4 as the contract will be awarded using the JCT Traditional form of Contract. The award criteria is to be set at 40 percent Quality and 60 percent Price. At the end of Stage 1 shortlisted tenderers will be invited to participate in Stage 2.
Stage 2 Invitation to Participate in Negotiation aka ITPN in which the shortlisted tenderers will be invited to submit their proposals, and participate in the Negotiation phase and submit Best and Final Offers to be considered for contract award.
