## Description

The project comprises a stand alone turnkey new build research and teaching engineering building over three stories with a gross floor area of 2983m2\. The accommodation is to house the chemical, mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines and is a highly serviced building with some of the accommodation requiring a strict level of vibration control\. The building must achieve BREEAM Excellent and an EPC Grade A rating\. The University seeks to appoint a Principal Contractor for the works under a single stage procurement route\. It is planned that the contractor will mobilise in March 2020 and complete the project by 8th July 2021\. Intended tender method: The University is inviting formal Expressions Of Interest \(EOI\) in the project before running a Closed Tender\. The EOI documentation is available on In-Tend \(details below\) and will include RIBA Stage 3 and programme information, and a copy of the University's Special Conditions under JCT form of contract\.
