## Description

TEC plays a key role in the Council's strategy to maximise the independence of Kingston residents\. TEC encompasses a range of technologies that enables people to live independently and safely in their own homes for longer\. This may include assistive technologies such as digitally connected devices, wearables, apps, robotics in the provision of care as well as telecare and telehealth\.
