OPC Instructions

Completion of c.15 tranches of OPC instructions (building on outputs delivered during phase 1) and work to bring together and present the policy tranches so they form a coherent whole. (2) legal advice and services in order to support changes and/or inclusion of, or the Buyer's consideration of, a number of additional other related issues, topics or measures, as required by BEIS ("potential additional issues and measures"). (3) Engagement with OPC and iteration of instructions in light of OPC feedback. (4) Scrutiny and iteration of draft clauses produced by OPC, working with BEIS policy, leading to OPC production of draft legislation ready for publication and/or scrutiny by Parliament. (5) Production of accompanying documentation required for Parliamentary scrutiny or bill passage. (6) Legal advice to support the Parliamentary process to scrutinise, develop, improve and refine the legislation, and through to achieving Royal Assent. (7) Appropriate project management support (Legal Project Manager) and reporting during the course of the engagement.
