AWARDED contract for the use of government funding to support businesses that have been affected by the pandemic

The Council has received a top up of ARG funding to a value of £1.2m which can be used for direct grants to businesses and wider business support. All funding must be spent by 31 March 2022 and Government is encouraging Councils to spend the money as soon as possible to provide much needed financial support to local businesses.

For the purpose of this programme we will contract with Exemplas. Exemplas is one of three key partners that between them provide the Herts Growth Hub Service to Hertfordshire SMEs under core funding from the Herts Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) Out of these three partners that provide the Growth Hub service Exemplas are the only Growth Hub consortium member responsible for the business advice aspects of the Growth Hub Service and the grant administration of funds for Business provided by both the LEP and National Government.
