## Description

The overarching objective for this project is to support the technical development of the Sustainable Rail Strategy, in order that the SRS can be completed in Q4 2021\. This will involve defining an industry baseline and recommended initiatives across environmental and social sustainability aspects and forming a roadmap per aspect that the rail industry can deliver against to achieve sustainability outcomes\. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises \(SMEs\)\. However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement\.
