Data Access Layer - Technology and Ways of working

Description

Data and Analytics (D&A) is a key enabler organisation for the delivery of the DWP Digital and Data Strategies. To keep pace with rapid technology innovation, demand for data services and ever-changing data security requirements, D&A set up a Data Access Layer project to deliver a fully transformed data and analytics technology and business organisation. This project includes three distinct but interlocked strands of deliverables that are progressing through the Programme's Agile Delivery phases. The delivery strands are: - Transformed, cloud-based Technical Architecture that adheres to the Enterprise Architecture Strategy - Transformed Ways of Working to deliver modernised, cloud-based data and analytical services and products - A Target Operating Model (TOM) to ensure secure development, delivery, administration and maintenance of DWP data and analytical services on Cloud-based technologies.
