Investigation of Real Fires

This is an existing contract to provide an on-going watching brief of developments in fire incidents and detailed investigation, including site visits, investigative research and small scale experimental fire testing and to provide technical advice on how to resolve valid requests for a determination under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

The contract is amended to carry out an agreed set of tests on samples of any cladding made by Aluminium Composite Material used in either new build or refurbishment housing.

Additional information: This contract amendment is valued at a maximum cost of £600,000.
