Vision 5 Single UK Mapping Source

Vision 5 Single UK Mapping Source: These works are required as a dependency for the Capita Vision 5 upgrade works to be successfully completed. Currently the Ordnance Survey mapping feeds which are OS GB and OS Northern Ireland have different stylization builds. This is causing a considerable issue for the Coastguard staff from the Belfast CGOC which needs to be rectified at the earliest opportunity. As the MCA completed the mapping source works for the Vision 4 system (which is currently live)we need to do the same for Vision 5 system.We have approached Ordnance Survey directly as they provide the current mapping sources used and they have agreed to provide the cartography consultancy works to complete the required mapping stylization config for OS GB and OS Northern Ireland. We have agreed to operate on agreed call off order basis with up to 25 days being worked and performed at a day rate of £504.13 ex VAT by Ordnance Survey. Please note: These mapping works are critically important, as we must have an affective single UK National Mapping Feed, otherwise Vision 5 cannot go live.
