F0265 - The Supply and Distribution of Groceries and Provisions; Frozen Food - AWARD

Birmingham City Council are inviting tenderers for the supply and distribution of groceries and provisions and frozen food.

The contract will be for duration of 3 years with an optional one-year extension period, and let as two separate lots; Lot 1 Groceries and Provisions, Lot 2 Frozen Food. Tenderers may apply for one or both Lots.

The framework will be made available to all the local authorities and public bodies based within the West Midlands boundaries.

This is a framework contract which does not commit the council to a particular level of expenditure.

The Council will be using its free to use e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and potential suppliers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.
