## Description

Expressions of interest are invited for a principal contractor for the production, construction, delivery and build of an interior redesign of the main welcome area - 'The Street' - at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds\. Additional information: Expressions of interest are invited for a principal contractor for the production, construction, delivery and build of an interior redesign of the main welcome area - 'The Street' - at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds\. The Royal Armouries intend to enter into a contract with a single supplier to undertake the works which will include two new welcome desks, backlit graphics scheme, banners, seating, lighting and digital/audio visual elements; the application of a new wayfinding scheme throughout the museum including signage and digital screens; the production of mounts for graphics and labels for highlighted treasures items throughout the museum\. The principal contractor will be expected to provide, be responsible for and manage a supply chain of suppliers covering all aspects of the work to support delivery of the scheme\. Completion and handover of the scheme will be required by 29 March 2018\. The principal contractor will work closely with the principal designers who have developed the detailed specifications, graphics and other design services and who will chair construction phase progress meetings\.
