Wigan Council - Small Sites Development Phase 1

Wigan Council sought to appoint a Contractor to develop the following schemes:

1. Factory street, Tyldesley, Manchester M29 8LD

This development comprises the construction of 6 new cottage style flats, with all service installations, siteworks, landscaping, car parking, roads, drainage and associated adoption agreements.

Properties are to be built using timber frame construction to meet building regs 2022 standards. Properties will be heated via an air-source heat pump.

2. Belle green lane, Ince-in-Makerfield, Wigan WN2 2EW

This development comprises the construction of 12 new cottage style flats, with all service installations, siteworks, landscaping, carparking, roads, drainage and associated adoption agreements.

Properties are to be built using timber frame construction to meet building regs 2022 standards. Properties will be heated via an air-source heat pump.

Potential third site. At the time of writing we do not have 100% certainty that this site will be included but there is a high likelihood that all three sites will be tendered together (please see procurement details below)

3. Heysham Rd, Orrell, Wigan WN5 0EA and Heysham Rd, Orrell, Wigan WN5 0DL (2 parcels of land)

This development comprises the construction of 8 new cottage style flats, with all service installations, siteworks, landscaping, carparking, roads, drainage and associated adoption agreements.

Properties are to be built using timber frame construction to meet building regulations 2022 standards. Properties will be heated via an air-source heat pump.
