Construction Supply Chain Engagement - Phase 2

London Borough of Barnet (LBB) wants to support local companies supplying goods and services to the construction sector by helping them to win more work from local projects. A Phase 1 project has compiled a directory of local construction supply chain businesses, embedding 'Local Procurement' thresholds in supplementary planning documents, s106 planning obligations and social value criteria, engaging with buyers (e.g., developers) on their supply needs, constraints, and opportunities and identified opportunities within the council's own procurement process to alert and encourage bids from local businesses. LBB wishes to procure a suitably qualified consultant to design and deliver a two-year local construction supply chain engagement programme that generates an active network of suppliers who are aware of, compliant with, and prepared for procurement opportunities from developers and the council.
