M&E Services - Lots 1 & 2

South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive is seeking to appoint suitably experienced provider of the above Services.

SYPTE intends to set up some maintenance services contracts split into 2 Lots which are detailed below. Suitably experienced providers are invited to express an interest in one or both Lots as appropriate to them.

Each contract will be for an initial term of 3 years with an option to SYPTE to extend by up to 2 further years.

LOT 1 - Mechanical Maintenance Services

Services summary The services will include the following but is not limited to :-

• Planned works and statutory testing in line with legislation and best practice, Maintenance/repair during working hours and outside working hours, including emergency cover

Locations A current list of SYPTE facilities includes...

• Interchanges at Sheffield, Rotherham (including multi-storey car park), Meadowhall (including top car park) and Barnsley

• Mini-Interchanges - Hillsborough, Dinnington, Mexborough, Adwick & Swinton.

• Travel Information Centre at Arundel Gate.

• General buildings - Head Office Building, Broad Street West, Sheffield

• Park and Ride Car Parks at Halfway, Middlewood, Nunnery, A638 Doncaster North, A638 Doncaster South.

• Rail Sites at Woodhouse

This list is not exhaustive and may be subject to amendment during the course of the contract. Principal scope of work • Servicing, repair and replacement of the following:- Gas plant, HVAC plant, Pumps, Plumbing up to outlet, sprinklers, compressors, ventilation systems, Dampers and ductwork

Estimated value £90,000 per annum

LOT 2 - Planned and Reactive Electrical Maintenance Services

Services summary The services will include the following but is not limited to :-

• Planned works and statutory testing in line with legislation and best practice, Maintenance/repair during working hours and outside working hours, including emergency cover Locations

A current list of SYPTE facilities includes... • Interchanges at Sheffield, Rotherham (including multi-storey car park), Meadowhall (including top car park) and Barnsley

• Mini-Interchanges - Hillsborough, Dinnington, Mexborough, Adwick & Swinton.

• Travel Information Centre at Arundel Gate.

• General buildings - Head Office Building, Broad Street West, Sheffield

• Park and Ride Car Parks at Halfway, Middlewood, Nunnery, Malin Bridge, A638 Doncaster North, A638 Doncaster South, Elsecar, White Rose Way.

• Rail Sites at Bentley, Kirk Sandall, Wombwell and Woodhouse

• On street infrastructure such as powered shelters

This list is not exhaustive and may be subject to amendment during the course of the contract. Principal scope of work Servicing, repair and replacement of the following:-

• LV electrical work, Lighting, Generators, Fire systems, FFE, Lightning protection, PAT testing, Hi-mast lighting, On street infrastructure electrical works

Estimated value £100,000 per annum
