## Description

Knutsford Town Council is looking to create a shared use path from the Moor to Mallard Close\. The path will be 3m wide and approximately 415m in length\. The surface must be suitable for cycling and wheelchairs e\.g\. a self-binding gravel or similar\. The path currently runs through an area of woodland/overgrowth and is boggy in parts\. The gradient steepens towards Mallard Close\. The contractor will be responsible for the full deliver of the path including: a\) Site management b\) Site clearance and groundworks c\) Installation of path d\) Management of the gradient and drainage/bridging Works would be likely to be undertaken from Spring 2019\. The tender submission must include a detailed method statement outlining a step-by-step guide as to how the works will be undertaken including to tackle the drainage and the steepness of the gradient\. The tender submission must confirm that a site visit has been undertaken\.
