Technology Qualification & Development Programme - Bend Stiffener Connectors - Stage 1 2013

Description

The project is intended to deliver the following objectives: • Identification and selection of two independent and capable suppliers of BSCs for FOW applications; • For each selected supplier, development of a tailored Technology Qualification Plan in conjunction with a recognised Class Society. Developed TQ plans will increase the technology's TRL to a level that will allow deployment in the first commercial scale floating farms; • For each developed TQ plan, identification of suitable funding, enabling test capability and resource required to support the delivery of the TQ plan.
