## Description

MMO is responsible for the assessment and management of marine non licensable activities \(mNLAs\) in marine protected areas \(MPAs\)\. MMO undertakes MPA mNLA assessments on a site-by-site basis to determine what management measures may be required for each site\. These site assessments are carried out in a manner that is consistent with habitats regulations assessments \(for European marine sites\) or a Marine Conservation Zone \(MCZ\) assessment \(i\.e\. addressing the tests in section 126 of the Marine and Coastal Access Act\)\.
