EHRC 1718-93 Board Effectiveness Review 2018

We are looking for a suitably experienced contractor(s) with expert knowledge of Board Development, to work with Commissioners and Commission staff, building on the Board effectiveness and development activity carried out to date, to review the Board's current effectiveness and to identify further opportunities to improve how the Board operates.

The project will review will consider, inter alia: the current governance arrangements to ensure that they provide for appropriate delegations; whether performance scrutiny is proportionate to risk and whether Board meetings and other engagement maximise opportunities for value creation. It will result in a delivery plan setting out a proposed approach to addressing development needs that identified and the production of a tool which can be used to bench mark progress going forward.

We welcome proposals from potential contractors for this project. It is expected that the project will begin immediately after the award of the contract in June 2018 and be completed in September 2018. Further information about the project is contained in the project specification.
