Waste Management Services, for our Luton, Bedford and Putteridge Bury sites. The University is highly committed to conduct its business in such a way that it actively promotes environmental responsibility and sustainability into the operational and planning processes of its operations.

The successful company to be awarded the waste management contract will be expected to fulfil the objectives documented in the University Environment Policy 2017/18.

The ideal partner should be aiming to maximise the level of recycling volumes, whilst minimising volumes of general waste. It should be noted that targets are subject to change based on annual review with the aim to drive continuous improvement in waste performance.
