Description
Specialist contractors experienced in repairing and rebuilding historic oak-framed structures including post mill trestles are invited to express interest in repairs assisted by Historic England. Project value anticipated £30,000 to £60,000 with a two-stage selection process. There will be a shortlist of 5 contractors with selection based on:- - relevant experience - proximity to the site - technical capacity - H&S record and training record - evidence of experience in brickwork using lime mortars including NHL, hot mixed lime and hybrid mixes Please submit your expression of interest, including a statement (max 750 words) to cover the selection criteria above and three examples of similar projects completed in the past 5 years including two references, and max 2 sides of A4 each, by Friday 15th October 2021 to the In-tend Portal https://in-tendhost.co.uk/intendsharedservices/ Tender selection and award criteria will be 60% quality 40% price.
