PAN1119 - Mill Lane & The Gateway Public Realm Improvement

Leicester City Council working with DMU invites Tenders for the provision of Mill Lane & The Gateway Public Realm Improvements Works are planned to commence during March 2016 and complete by December 2016, it is anticipated to award to a single supplier. This tender is to appoint a contractor to reconstruct the section between Grange Lane and Grasmere Street to provide a high quality linear park with cycle and pedestrian facilities. It includes significant areas of planting and incorporates sustainable urban drainage systems to retain rainwater for the benefit of the various trees and foliage planted as a part of the scheme. It also includes areas of cast in-situ exposed aggregate concrete surfacing, Porphyry paving, new LED street lighting, feature stone blocks and lighting, seating and cycle racks.
