## Description

Sigma 300 VP Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope with integrated WiTec RISE Confocal Raman Microscope and Oxford Instruments UltimMax 40 EDS Detector & 12 months warranty\. RISE-EDS \(Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope\) is the world's first laboratory-based equipment for multimodal correlative microscopy and spectroscopy\. It is a full integration of a \(i\) WITec 3D confocal Raman microscope into a \(ii\) ZEISS field emission Scanning Electron Microscope \(SEM\) that is enabled with a \(iii\) ZEISS Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy \(EDS\) detector, as one analytical suite\. Based on the below factors there are currently only one supplier in the market that can supply the RISE-EDS equipment and meet all our requirements; Carl Zeiss Ltd is the only supplier that can provide this unique technology; a fully correlated imaging solution that incorporates light microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and confocal Raman mapping\. Carl Zeiss Ltd owns the patent for the ZEN Connect correlative software and the ZEN Intellesis software for machine learning-based segmentation of image data\. These are the only commercial correlative and segmentation tools and are only available from Carl Zeiss Ltd\.
