Neglect Needs Assessment 2022

Southend City Council (SCC) is seeking to commission a Provider to develop a Neglect Needs Assessment (NNA) for Southend. The NNA will describe the impact of neglect in the population, review current service provisions response for adults and children where neglect has been identified and identify any gaps. The aims of this NNA are to provide: 1 System level insight into the causes and trends of neglect and generational neglect in Southend 2) A review of current interventions, their impact and emerging evidence base on approaches 3) A strategy for responding to, commissioning of services and monitoring neglect into the future 4) To look at innovation and opportunities in Southend to improve the outcomes for our residents
