17-037 Installation of Hoists & Stairlifts

Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council (RMBC) are inviting bids from organisations who are able to meet the requirements for the supply and installation of stair lifts and hoists. The opportunity is to be split into two lots: • Lot 1 - The installation of Stair lifts, Curve Lifts and through-floor lifts, estimated annual spend in the region of £335k per annum. • Lot 2 - The installation of Hoists, estimated annual spend in the region of £129k per annum.

Tenderers may submit bids for one or both Lots.

The anticipated spend is in the region of £464K per annum, however these costs are indicative and do not carry any guarantee of turnover or exclusivity and any estimated volumes of business are indicative and may vary upwards or downwards depending on actual future needs.

RMBC does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any bid and reserves the right to accept any bid in whole or to split the award based on the most competitive tenders to more than one bidder based on the most competitive tenders received for each Lot.
