Work description

NHS England and NHS Improvement set out the 2023/24 Community Mental Health transformation priorities in roadmap that provides a simple visual representation of the breadth of deliverables required in order to meet NHS Long Term Plan commitments (see below). This highlights the importance of developing the dedicated offer for people with Complex Emotional Needs (CEN) to include increased access to the dedicated offer linked to the core model; embedding people with lived experience in the development and delivery of services; and the development of trauma-specific support, drawing on VCSE provision.

As part of the development of the dedicated offer for people with Complex Emotional Needs (CEN) in the Bedford, Central Bedfordshire and Luton localities of the BLMK Health and Care Partnership, we require a single lead provider to work in partnership with VCSE organisations with expertise in the provision of 'trauma-informed approaches' to deliver trauma-specific support that is accessible to all adults with moderate to severe complex emotional needs associated with a diagnosis of 'personality disorder' who have experienced trauma (including sexual abuse, violence, and war-related trauma).
