West Carclaze Energy Solution

Cornwall Council is seeking expert advice to help develop an energy solution for the proposed West Carclaze mixed use development in St Austell that can act as a smart, sustainable energy exemplar for the rest of Cornwall. The focus is on providing a model for the delivery of highly sustainable homes and businesses that prioritises value capture for the long term benefit of the occupants of the site and does not place undue burden upon the site developer in the form of excessive upfront capital costs.

Additional information: The Council uses a web-based system on the South West Portal found at www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk (DueNorth) to manage quote and tender processes. New users to the system must register on this site to obtain a username and password before gaining access to the system. All interaction with the Council in respect of this requirement will be conducted through the DueNorth system.
