Supply of catering of food and beverages

A below threshold open light touch regime (LTR) tender under Public Contract Regulations (2015) was released on the In-Tend Portal on 20th September 2024. The Authority received 4 expressions of interest from following suppliers: 1. Corporate Catering (incumbent) 2. BSF Group Ltd 3. Mocha & Latte Catering 4. Supernote Ltd 5. U Consults Ltd The Authority received one tender response from Corporate Catering, the incumbent supplier. However, the price they offered for 4-year contract exceeded the contract value of £220,000. As the bid could not be evaluated in line with the advertised requirement, the Authority terminated the procurement and directly negotiated with the supplier, Corporate Catering. Following the negotiation with the supplier, both parties have agreed to sign a contract for a period of three years for a value of £220,000 as originally advertised in the tender notice. The proposal was reviewed by the stakeholders and due to the circumstances of not receiving any other bids and the necessity to maintain continuity of service, a decision was taken to award the contract to Corporate Catering.
