The Trust has a requirement for a main contractor appointment covering the Maternity Assessment Unit capital scheme.

The MAU (Maternity Assessment Unit) is the front door to maternity services and acts as the emergency department, providing 24/7 care for pregnant women with urgent needs via scheduled and unscheduled care episodes. The current environment is not fit for purpose, with significant privacy and dignity concerns and a sub-optimal clinical environment.
