## Description

Accelerate programme aims to provide sustained expert support for ECTs to equip them with the tools to succeed - to improve ECT teaching quality, retention, and pupil attainment\. There are four elements: • Instructional coaching from subject or phase expert coaches, video coaching, workshops and school visits\. • Blended learning - launch event, 2 face-to-face training and online modules\. • Communities of Practice - peer groups, collaboration\. • In-school conditions for success - training and support for in-school mentors and leaders, in-school support for participants\. Blended learning programme with training modules \(face to face and online\), in-school support and local networks\. The programme uses excellent Teaching School Alliances \(TSAs\) as Delivery Hubs\. They lead local delivery utilising significant pre-existing regional networks, provide coaches and host CoPs and events\. Hubs receive central support, with coaches receiving intensive face-to-face and online training and expert supervision for coaches\.
