This means everything from a quality place to call home, to good physical and mental wellbeing and a sense of self-worth through diverse and secure employment opportunities. Barnsley Council is leading the way on Great Childhood Ambition, aiming to be the 'place of possibilities' where children and young people to thrive. We're dedicated to providing opportunities for learning and skill development, inspiring the next generation to be the workforce for the future. Some children, young people, and families face greater challenges and we know it will take a whole system approach to support these families. We need to fully understand the challenges for a wide range of stakeholders to identify what we need to do differently, and then test out possible system improvements.
