C8642 Framework for Housing Plus Heat Network Heat Cost Allocator Installation In our bid to strive towards achieving net zero by 2050 and to ensure we remain compliant within the regulations, the allocators will allow for more accurate billing for our customers, ensuring they only pay for the heat they use and in turn promotes more effective energy behaviours and thus reducing carbon emissions\. South Tyneside Council \(the client\) has 22No\. Housing Plus schemes \(sheltered accommodation\), buildings that are heated through a communal heating system at various locations throughout the Borough of South Tyneside \.It is intended to commence the project with a pilot of installations to 2 No \.Housing Plus Schemes, following which a review and decision will be made on continuing with the installations on a year by year basis - the subsequent awards will be made on a call-off basis under the framework\.
