Strategy and policy compliance and governance review

We now want to consider the current status of our compliance with duties and standards beyond the Equality Act 2010 and the merits and opportunities for alignment of the equality agenda with wider developments like those mentioned above. Without an assurance of compliance with equality laws and the wider duties, we may be exposed to reputational and legal risk that falls outside of our risk appetite/tolerance, and potential legal action by stakeholders. We also need assurance that each level of the governance structure is scrutinising, challenging and providing effective oversight of ED&I (including the actual delivery of compliance).
