Lancaster District Gypsy and Traveller and Travelling Showpeople Assessment

As part of preparing the evidence base for the Local Plan Review, the Council seeks to commission consultants to undertake the preparation of various evidence-based studies which together will provide the Council with a robust understanding of housing and employment requirements for the district. Exploring these matters will consist of 4 separate studies:

A: Lancaster District Gypsy & Travelling Showpeople Accommodation Assessment (GTAA) - which is the subject of this brief. B: Lancaster District Strategic Housing Market Assessment (SHMA). C: Establishing the Housing Requirement for Lancaster District. D: Lancaster District Employment Land Review.

All four studies are currently out for tender. Consultants are invited to tender for individual studies or a combination of studies where expertise and capacity allow. Each study will however be procured separately and assessed on its own merit.
