GB-Colchester: 0429 - Pitched Roof Coverings 2025 - 2026

Description

Colchester Borough Homes (the Authority) on behalf of Colchester City Council (the Council) wishes to commission a contractor to undertake the re-covering of pitched roof coverings to two and three storey flat blocks at various locations within the Colchester District. All documents should be read in conjunction with each other to ensure a clear understanding of the objectives and comply with the requirements of the relevant CBH Materials and Workmanship Specification, all relevant British Standards, manufacturers installation recommendations, specialist specifications and drawings ref: 51794, 51795, 51954 & 51955. This opportunity has been split into two separate Lots: Lot 1: 3 Storey Blocks Lot 2: 2 Storey Blocks Bidders may bid for either Lots or both Lots. The council when evaluating the bids will decide whether to appoint 1 to 2 contractors to undertake the separate Lots. Further details of the requirements can be found in the accompanying documents. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. This opportunity to split into two separate Lots, bidders can either submit a bid for 1 or both Lots. M&J Group have been awarded both lots: Lot 1: 3 Storey Blocks - Value: £827,000.00 Lot 2: 2 Storey Blocks - Value: £519,000.00
