Brixton Almshouses Refurbishments CFA

The City of London Corporation (the City) invites Tenders for the provision of internal and external refurbishment works to the Brixton Almshouses. The buildings consist of 5 blocks of 2 storey sheltered housing accommodation and 1 block of 1 storey sheltered housing accommodation, constructed in the 1820's and located on Ferndale Road in Brixton. The entire site lies in a conservation area and 2 of the blocks on the site are listed. The works include external repairs & maintenance to brickwork, render, roofs, railings, drainage, windows repairs/replacement, decorating, rainwater goods etc. The works also include internal decent homes works to select flats, replacing kitchens, bathrooms, flooring and associated decorations.
