Description
Rossendale Borough Council (RBC) has been successful in its grant bid submission to the DLUHC for a Capital Regeneration Project funding. The Council has secured £17.9million of LUF grant, £1.5m contribution from Lancashire County Council and a £1.8m contribution from Rossendale Borough Council to deliver a number of various projects under the Regeneration scheme. As part of the programme the Council intend to demolish the former Barclay's Bank and surrounding wall that is located at 12 Market Street in Bacup to make way for a new Market building. This tender is to a suitably qualified and experience Contractor to demolish the existing building. The Barclays Bank at 12 Market Street is to be demolished safely to ground floor slab asap, whilst the Market Building will follow to meet the new build programme. It is advised that all bidders visit site to assure themselves of the demolition works required. Additional information: Is a Recurrent Procurement Type? : No
