SCC - XA - RFQ - Charlton Lane Waste Management - Scoping Study

Surrey County Council's (SCC's) waste management contractor is currently commissioning the Charlton Lane Eco Park facility which is located adjacent to the M3 motorway in Shepperton. The Eco Park comprises the following three elements. 1) A recyclable bulking facility and community recycling centre 2) An anaerobic digestion facility to manage 40 KT/A of food waste 3) A pre-treatment system to convert 55 KT/A of mixed waste into refuse derived fuel and a gasification facility to process 45KT/A of refuse derived fuel.
