GB-London: ST19-P112_ LGT_Authorising Water Engineer Services

The Trust currently has a requirement for the services of a Authorising Engineer (water) (AE(w)) for a 3 year period with option to extend by 1 year.

The AE(w) will act as an independent professional adviser to the healthcare organisation. The AE(w) will be appointed by the organisation with a brief to provide services in accordance with the relevant Health Technical Memorandum (HTM 04-01).

The AE (W) should preferably be a qualified Microbiologist (e.g. a degree in life science or equivalent), and have significant relevant experience in healthcare. The organisation providing the service shall be a member of the Legionella Control Association or equivalent and comply with its code of conduct.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
