Teignbridge District Council secured funding via the Future High Streets Fund. Part of this successful bid for funding related to The Councils' Markets Quarter regenerating the historic market hall building and redesign of the square to improve footfall. Currently, the Markets Quarter is under going construction, due for completion in Spring 2026. The Council is now assessing its options to manage the future Markets Quarter offer. Therefore, The Council is conducting an early market engagement opportunity to meet with suppliers on site. The objectives of this early market engagement are to: - help inform a specification for a potential future procurement, although the design is fixed internally we are seeking early engagement as to any changes that might be deemed appropriate or possible (subject to planning) to aid the management operation - understand the contract terms subject to further review - identify any issues both parties need to resolve Dates and times available for this opportunity are as follows (on a first come first served basis): 12th March 2025 9:30 - 11:30 12:00 - 14:00 14:30 - 16:30 13th March 2025 9:30 - 11:30 12:00 - 14:00 14:30 - 16:30 Each supplier will be given a 2 hour timeslot. The first hour will be a walk around the current construction site. The Council reserve the right to shortlist depending on the level of interest shown.
