Work description
As a joint initiative with Public Health England and Diabetes UK, NHS England has set up a Framework Agreement of four providers who will provide, anywhere in England, between 10,000 and 100,000 behavioural interventions aimed at preventing or delaying the onset of Type 2 diabetes in people with non-diabetic hyperglycaemia (or pre-diabetes) over the 3 year term of the Framework Agreement. The numbers of behavioural interventions may vary during the term of the Framework Agreement and these figures are estimates only as precise quantities of likely purchases are unknown.
Additional information: A procedure similar to the restricted procedure under the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 was adopted. Interested providers submitted responses to a pre-qualification questionnaire and then those shortlisted were invited to tender. The four highest scoring tenderers were appointed to the Framework Agreement following evaluation in accordance with the process set out in the Invitation to Tender
