Work description
The Authority is currently tendering for the provision of support for (up to) 6 young people to live in their own tenancies following a transition from children's and young peoples services. The young people are all on the autistic spectrum (2 also have a diagnosis of learning disability) and as such the Authority is looking to identify a Provider who has proven skills in supporting people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder to maximise their independence and develop meaningful and active lives. This is a new Service linked to the recent development of a small apartment block into 6 self contained 1 bedroomed flats. The development includes a small building located within the grounds of the apartment block to be used as staff/office accommodation and as such the service required is for support only. The support will include a 24 hour block contract for on site support plus individual packages of support to meet the needs of those young people identified for the service. Providers should note that individual packages of support are not guaranteed and will be subject to change throughout the term of the Contract.
Additional information: Instructions to Suppliers: Please refer to tender documents supplied for further information regarding this procurement. Information about delivery location: Please note that this is a new service therefore no contract value applies. The procurement is based on value for money/quality of service. Please refer to tender documentation supplied for further details of the service specification and criteria.
