Description
The aim of this study is to gain a better understanding of the impact of the minimum wages, especially the National Living Wage, on individuals. The Low Pay Commission invites tenders for research that will provide initial evidence by September 2016 and more substantive findings by September 2017. Up to three separate projects will be commissioned in this process. The initial findings will inform LPC deliberations in October 2016 for the uprating of the NLW (and the other age-related minimum wage rates) in April 2017. It will then provide more substantive findings to inform decisions in October 2017 for the minimum wage upratings in April 2018. This research will contribute to our understanding of how the NLW is affecting workers Additional information: To register on our e-sourcing portal click on https://gpsesourcing.cabinetoffice.gov.uk and follow the link ‘Register for CCS eSourcing’.
