e-Research Infrastructure and Research Data Life Cycle

The University of Manchester wishes to contract for the use of appropriate skills and experience of an external organization to assist in the definition and scope of a Research Life Cycle Management Project. The principal deliverables are: • a thorough appraisal of potential requirements for, and develop roadmaps for the key research support areas of e-Research Infrastructure and the Research Data Life Cycle • Develop options for investment based on the roadmaps and support the creation of a full Business Case for the Research Life Cycle Project, including statement of opportunity, scope, intended approach, capital and revenue estimates, financial and nonfinancial benefits, resource requirements and delivery plan.
