## Description

The General Medical Council is looking to procure a Digital Identification service that will allow for a remote / online service to support the verification of the applicants' identity\. The digital verification service will support 2 key aspects of this process for all applicants regardless of their country of origin: 1\) Document verification 2\) Person verification The outcome of the digital identification process will inform the GMC verification through provision of a Level of Assurance \(LOA\) rating based upon the authenticity of the document, and the corresponding likeness of the individual applicant submitting the document in the service\.
