## Description

Due to the scale of the challenges being faced, grant funding has been awarded from the European Regional Development Fund \(ERDF\) to allow Councils to continue to support the safe reopening of High Streets \(the Reopening High Streets Safely \(or RHSS\) Fund\)\. The Council has created an action plan setting out how it intends to spend this grant funding allocation\. The following High Street / Neighbourhood shopping areas are included within this action plan; • Chester • Northwich • Winsford • Ellesmere Port • Neston • Frodsham • Tarporley • Malpas • Parkgate • Hoole What we are buying and why As part of Cheshire West and Chester Council's Action Plan for the RHSS fund, support is sought to create and implement a Reopening High Streets Safely Communications Campaign\. The successful bidder will work with the Council's High Street Recovery Group and key partners until the end of March 2021 on the design and delivery of a communications campaign to support people to feel safe in their return to our high streets, plan their journey / visit and to help businesses to be Covid secure\. The campaign must be delivered in line with the requirements of the grant\. A guidance note around this is included as an appendix\.
