Mechanical & Electrical Engineers/Consultants Needed

Newlon Housing Trust intends to re-procure new Door Entry Maintenance and Repair Services. A mechanical and electrical engineer/consultant will be procured in advance of the procurement of the main service, in order to: 1) Survey our current Door Entry stock and assets and/or consult with our current contractor, to complete the information on the Asset List (Appendix 6). 2) Write a specification based on the Asset List. 3) Develop a price list and a cost model. These will be used when re-procuring the (contractor’s) service. 4) Assist Newlon with the procurement of the (contractor’s) service. We anticipate that the Mechanical and Electrical (M + E) engineer will assist with the assessment of contractors in the procurement process, including advice and assistance regarding KPI-setting. Where possible, industry standard schedules of rates will be utilised.
