## Description

OKTA is currently used to manage the identities of user accessing the UK Ship Register system\. It is a key component of securing the MCA services, to ensure that only appropriately identified and authorised users access the systems and data, providing assurance that external users are protected against data breach\. MCA is taking forward a 12 month extension under the G-Cloud 13 contract\.
